Cachoeira do Roncador 2 – Roncador Waterfall 2

                A principal atividade do Felipe Wasser era voar: quase todos os finais de semana ele transpunha o mundinho “do limite de 50 metros cada lado”, conforme ele mesmo dizia, para alçar vôo livre.

                Felipe Wasser main activity was to fly: almost every weekend passed over the bubble "limit of 50 meters each side, " as he put it, to soar free.

                Costumo dizer que as pessoas sempre estão ligados a algum elemento da natureza quando se trata de praticar um esporte ou hobby: a água (surf, mergulho), terra (MotoCross, futebol), ar (vôo-livre, alpinismo)... Mas meu pai era ligado a todos: Vôo-livre, mergulho, caminhada na mata, Windsurf, entre outros.

                Seu outro hobby era ligado à água, e este lugar – a Cachoeira do Roncador – lhe proporcionava tanto a prática do Windsurf, como o aerobarco, a tirolesa, a caminhada em meio à natureza, entre outros.

                His other hobby was connected to the water , and this place - Cachoeira do Roncador - gave him both the practice windsurfing , hovercraft, tyrolean , hiking in the nature , among others .

                Estas fotos mesmo, tirada da montanha em frente ao clube, nos proporcionou uma aventura de tirar o fôlego (literalmente), na qual comemos goiabas que nasciam na outra margem do Rio do Peixe.

                These pictures, taken from the mountain in front of the club, gave us an adventure of breathtaking (literally) in which we ate guavas on the opposite bank of the Peixe river.

                Outra aventura muito bacana foi quando subimos o rio que alimenta a cachoeira, e adentrando na mata, encontramos cachoeiras e lagos escondidos do grande publico. Não me lembro se há fotos deste episódio, mas se encontrar, as postarei por aqui.

                Costumam dizer por aí que as pessoas são “do dia”, ou “da noite”. Felipe era “do dia”, pois para praticar tantos esportes não se podia ficar acordado a noite inteira.

                Mas na Cachoeira do Roncador era diferente. Como Felipe havia aprendido a tocar acordeom quando criança (na igreja), Fleury organizava noites de forró, onde Felipe revezava a sanfona com o sanfoneiro oficial e tocava no bailão pela noite toda.

                But in Roncador waterfall was different. As Felipe had learned to play accordion as a child (the church), Fleury organized “forró” nights, where Felipe alternated with the official accordion player to play the famous “Baião” (Brazilian ritm) all the night.

                Já faz muito tempo que não vou a este lugar, mas o Arilton “Maçã” (mais um amigo do Felipe que eu mantenho amizade ainda hoje) foi lá estes dias e encontrou com o Fleury. Almoçou e pelo fato de ser amigo do Felipe, custou em conseguir pagar a conta.

                Felipe Wasser tinha como amigo o Fleury, dono da Cachoeira do Roncador, em São José dos Campos, e todos nos íamos até lá com uma boa freqüência, desde quando o clube era apenas um projeto.

                Felipe sempre levava diversos amigos para conhecer o local, que conta com uma cachoeira muito bacana.

                Quando chegava um feriado, Fleury ficava preocupado com os turistas que fatalmente iriam escorregar no limo que se formava naturalmente nas pedras, e lá estava Felipe um dia antes para escovar as pedras, para que não ocorressem escorregões e ferimentos entre os freqüentadores do local.

                Outra paixão era a tirolesa que Felipe fazia amarrando a corda ao seu jeep, conforme as fotos.

                Ainda me lembro quando o cometa Halley passaria perto de nosso planeta, e Felipe improvisou um observatório num morro a alguns metros acima da cachoeira (conforme a foto), onde se reuniu em uma noite, sob sua coordenação, muitos amigos astrônomos amadores, em um evento que ficou vivo na memória de quem participou.

                Me lembro que o Yutaka Nacamura também voou este dia, com sua comet vermelha, e também me lembro de sua usual dificuldade em vestir o sarcófago (cinto) que o fazia se esquecer do comando da asa – hábito herdado pelo filho Marcos Nacamura. Felipe ficava louco da vida – assim como o Luiz e eu ficávamos loucos com o Marcos, em nossa época, alguns anos depois.

                Um dos passatempos prediletos de Felipe era descobrir novos locais para vôo – passatempo herdado pelo seu ex-aluno Luis Resende, que até hoje em dia vem buscando novos locais para vôo, tendo inaugurado bons locais em Minas e agora em Alagoas.

                Como hoje eu pratico paraglider em Santa Rita do Sapucaí, e de acordo com alguns colegas de vôo, este local teria sido inaugurado pelo Gedilson, resolvi tirar a história a limpo com o próprio Luis Resende, que me informou o seguinte:

    Em Santa Rita foi eu e o Doni que conseguimos na prefeitura (de São Sebastião da Bela Vista - a decolagem é lado B. Vista) a abertura do local.  Deixamos eles "limpando' a decolagem numa segunda-feira e voltamos no sábado seguinte pra inaugurar... Quando chegamos lá pra inaugurar tinham deixado os tocos encravados (o Antônio Segura estava com a gente)... procurei um "corredorzinho" no meio dos tocos, um pouco diagonal, e DECOLEI pela primeira vez daquela serra... quando olhei pra traz, lá vinha o Segura tbm (ele foi o segundo piloto a voar lá). Depois do voo, fomos procurar o pessoal da prefeitura e falar que não pode ter tocos na decolagem.  Foi assim que começaram os voos lá em "Santa Rita".”

                O Machadão em Paraisópolis, sul de Minas Gerais, assim como a Pedra Grande, em Atibaia, São Paulo, e São Francisco Xavier, em São José dos Campos, São Paulo, foram inaugurados por Felipe Wasser, enquanto o Pico Agudo, em Santo Antonio do Pinhal, foi inaugurado (se não me engano) pelo Yutaka Nacamura.
