            Como Felipe Wasser sempre foi apaixonado por vôos e pela liberdade, isto de certa forma lhe moldou a alma, de forma que, quando lhe perguntavam qual era a sensação que tinha quando voava, sua resposta era algo mais ou menos assim:

            - Nos passamos quase todo nosso tempo, durante a semana, trancados em um escritório, limitados a 4 paredes, numa distância máxima de 50 metros. Então quando voamos, não temos mais estes limites.

            Seria ele claustofóbico? Compartilho com ele o mesmo sentimento, apenas acrescentando que me sinto também em comunhão com Deus, no templo construído por Suas próprias mãos – chão verde e teto azul e branco!

            Felipe também dizia que não havia prazer maior do que ter a possibilidade de ver o chefe dele bem pequenininho lá de cima! Quem conhecia seu senso de humor não estranharia esta declaração.

            Quanto ao seu projeto: construir um viveiro de adaptação de pássaros em uma região rural, no qual ele colocaria os pássaros provenientes de gaiolas, para que, quando soltos, tivessem maiores chances de sobrevivência. Não teve tempo de realizar totalmente.

            Não pensem que, por falta do tal viveiro, ele deixou de comprar os pássaros cativos de seus colegas para libertá-los depois. Houve uma ocasião em que, após comprar um pássaro de estimação de um colega, anunciou que o iria soltar em seguida. Seu amigo desesperadamente disse que o pássaro iria morrer, e quis desfazer o negócio, mas Felipe respondeu:

            Ele geralmente os soltava no sítio de um amigo chamado Avelino, em São José dos Campos.

Churrasquinho de gato - Cat barbecue

Contaram-me que certa vez, após um vôo em Caraguatatuba, Felipe e amigos foram até um senhor que vendia churrasco em espetos numa rua qualquer, perto da praia, e pediram espetos de carne bovina, além da habitual cerveja.

Eis que, após longa conversa, o senhor que vendia os espetos se simpatizou com meu pai de tal forma que, quando meu pai resolveu lhe perguntar de que parte do boi era feito o espeto, o senhor lhe revelou que na verdade era carne de gato, e não de boi.

Diante da revelação, um dos amigos dele partiu pra cima do senhor, querendo brigar, mas Felipe, que era de paz, interrompeu este amigo indignado e, numa cena hilária, voltou-se para o senhor e lhe disse “me dê mais um espetinho que está bom pra caramba!”.
